SUMPRODUCT: Multiply and Add
Total revenue is units times price, added up over every row. You could add a helper column, or use SUMPRODUCT(range1, range2), which multiplies matching cells and adds the results in one step. It also works with conditions, because a comparison gives TRUE/FALSE which counts as 1/0 when multiplied.
In this course each line of an example is one cell: the address, a colon, then what is in the cell. A line starting with = is a formula. Press Run to see the sheet with every formula worked out.
What does SUMPRODUCT(A1:A3, B1:B3) calculate?
In G1 show the total revenue (units times price for every row).
