What is Machine Learning?
In ordinary programming you write the rules. In machine learning you give the computer examples and it works out the rules itself. Show it the size and price of some houses and it learns how price depends on size, then predicts the price of a house it has never seen.
The tool used throughout this course is scikit-learn. Every model follows the same three steps: create it, fit it to examples, then predict.

Quick check
What does `fit` do?
Your turn: write the code
Use the trained model to predict the price of a 150 square metre house and print it rounded to 1 decimal place.
Finish the quick check (and any code exercise) to complete this lesson, or mark it done yourself.
