Scatter Plots
A scatter plot draws one dot per observation, with one number on each axis. It answers the question "are these two things related?". If the dots rise from left to right, the two values tend to grow together (a positive relationship). A falling cloud means a negative relationship, and a shapeless cloud means no clear relationship.
Use ax.scatter(x, y). The size s, colour c and transparency alpha can all be set, which is useful when many dots overlap.
A scatter plot whose dots slope up to the right shows...
Draw the scatter plot and print how many dots it holds (use len(ax.collections[0].get_offsets())).
