Combining Tables
pd.merge joins two tables on a shared column, like a SQL JOIN. how='inner' keeps matches only, how='left' keeps every row from the left table. pd.concat stacks tables on top of each other.
Examplepython
Quick check
Which merge keeps every row of the left table, even without a match?
Your turn: write the code
Merge customers and orders (inner) and print the shape of the result.
Finish the quick check (and any code exercise) to complete this lesson, or mark it done yourself.
